Police in Mpigi District have detained Jajja Ivan Muwanga, a well-known traditional healer from Kamengo, over allegations that he kidnapped children and may have been involved in the disappearance of at least twelve minors. Ten people have been confirmed dead following a fatal road crash involving a taxi and a stationary trailer along the Busia Highway in Bugiri District in the morning.
