TotalEnergies, EACOP Consolidate Uganda Operations at Sudhir’s RR Pearl Tower One

TotalEnergies and the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Company have finalized their relocation to RR Pearl Tower One, bringing together their Ugandan operations in one centrally located property owned by prominent developer Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia.

The move unites TotalEnergies EP Uganda, TotalEnergies Marketing and Services Uganda, and EACOP within the newly constructed tower at Plot 1, Yusuf Lule Road, in Kampala’s central business district. Previously, the three entities operated from separate offices across the city, a structure that often complicated coordination among teams working on closely linked oil and gas initiatives.

Before the transition, TotalEnergies EP Uganda and EACOP were based at Course View Towers on Yusuf Lule Road, while TotalEnergies Marketing and Services Uganda operated from 8th Street in the Industrial Area. The separation required additional logistical effort to maintain alignment across departments engaged in interconnected petroleum projects.

With all divisions now housed in a single location, the companies anticipate smoother collaboration, faster decision-making, and improved integration among technical, commercial, and project management teams overseeing Uganda’s oil development activities.

RR Pearl Tower One provides contemporary, energy-efficient office facilities tailored to large corporate tenants. The building includes adaptable floor plans, shared conferencing amenities, and infrastructure designed with sustainability in mind features that reflect TotalEnergies’ international operational benchmarks.

Its prime position in central Kampala also offers closer proximity to government institutions, regulatory authorities, financial partners, contractors, and other stakeholders involved in Uganda’s upstream and midstream oil sectors.

The consolidation comes at a pivotal stage as TotalEnergies advances the Tilenga project and the East African Crude Oil Pipeline, two flagship investments central to Uganda’s growing petroleum industry. As both ventures progress further into development and construction, centralizing operations is expected to enhance efficiency and strengthen project delivery.

For Dr. Ruparelia, securing tenancy from a global energy corporation further reinforces his standing in Kampala’s commercial property market, adding another major international client to his expanding portfolio.
