Ugandan fashion model and socialite Doreen Kabareebe Harris has commented on the so-called ‘leaked video’ of Western youth MP aspirant Elizabeth Kakwanzi Katanywa.Kakwanzi is one of the contestants seeking the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag for the position of the 2026-2031 western youth MP in next year’s general elections.
The race is already crowded with a number of young people seeking Museveni’s NRM flag for the well-paying parliamentary job.With her so-called ‘leaked video’ trending on social media this week, Elizabeth Kakwanzi Katanywa found herself in the spotlight.
Now, Kabareebe, a Miss Uganda 2010 contestant and Miss Uganda World International 2020, who has been in the spotlight for years now, suggests that Elizabeth Kakwanzi Katanywa is already ahead of the group of youthful politicians vying for the Western Uganda youth MP position.
In Kabareebe’s view, Kakwanzi stands higher chances of joining the 12th parliament as one of the youth MPs than she had before the so-called ‘leaked video.’
Kabareebe says that it is not even as necessary as it was for Elizabeth Kakwanzi Katanywa before the ‘leaked video’ to canvass for votes.
In fact, the beautiful fashion model has congratulated Elizabeth Kakwanzi Katanywa on victory in the Western youth MP election.“She doesn’t need to campaign. That video was enough!” wrote Kabareebe. “Congratulations in advance, Honorable.”
The model and socialite also emphasized to her followers that the Elizabeth Kakwanzi Katanywa so-called leaked video was generated by artificial intelligence (AI).
