  • Gogo Gloriose, 36, passed away in Uganda after battling recurring seizure attacks.
  • Her manager revealed epilepsy-related complications may have caused her sudden loss.
  • He also shared that Gogo had no family left, as her relatives perished during the 1994 Rwandan genocide.

Gospel singer Gogo Gloriose’s manager has opened up about the circumstances that led to the singer’s untimely passing.

The 36-year-old artiste, born Gloriose Musabyimanna, passed away on the morning of September 4 in Uganda, shortly after attending a ministry crusade. She fell ill and was admitted to a hospital in Kyengera, where her life tragically came to an end.

Speaking during Bruno K’s TikTok live on Thursday, Gogo’s manager revealed that the singer had been struggling with seizure attacks.According to him, she had been experiencing them more frequently in recent months, which had left those close to her concerned.

“She used to have seizure attacks, and we decided to keep it away from the public. I believe she passed on because of epilepsy-related complications. On Monday, she had two seizure episodes before we rushed her to hospital. We were used to the attacks and often thought she would recover after treatment, but unfortunately, this time she did not make it,” he explained.

Beyond their professional bond, Gogo’s manager described her as family. “I have not only lost an artiste but also a sister. I was Gogo’s family. She had no parents or siblings—her entire family was wiped out during the 1994 Rwandan genocide,” he shared.
