Residents were left in shock after police uncovered a gruesome domestic crime in which a woman allegedly killed her lover and secretly buried his body inside her bedroom.

According to preliminary investigations, the suspect and the deceased had been living together as partners. Authorities say the incident occurred following a heated disagreement, after which the woman allegedly murdered the man under circumstances that are still being investigated.

Police revealed that the body remained hidden for days inside the house before suspicion arose. Neighbors reportedly became concerned after noticing a foul smell coming from the residence, prompting them to alert authorities.

Upon searching the house, detectives discovered the lover’s body buried beneath the bedroom floor. The suspect was immediately arrested and taken into custody to assist with investigations.

Law enforcement officials say the woman is expected to face serious murder charges once investigations are complete. The body has since been taken to the mortuary for a postmortem examination to establish the exact cause of death.

Police have condemned the incident, urging couples to seek peaceful ways of resolving conflicts and to report domestic disputes before they escalate into violence.

The case has reignited public debate on domestic violence and mental health, with authorities calling for stronger community awareness and early intervention to prevent similar tragedies.
