Jennifer Nakangubi, popularly known as Full Figure, a presidential advisor and outspoken political activist, has been hospitalized after being attacked by unidentified men. The assault, which left her with severe facial injuries, is being linked by her allies to political rivals whom she has frequently criticized and mocked on social media.
Images shared online show Full Figure lying in a hospital bed with a swollen face, shut eyes, and bruised lips, visibly struggling from the aftermath of the beating.
Events promoter and fellow presidential advisor Balaam Barugahara strongly condemned the attack, calling for justice and accountability.
“The people who assaulted my boss, Presidential Assistant Madam Full Figure, must be arrested and taken through rehabilitation. Violence against women is unacceptable and must be treated with urgency. Such acts not only cause physical and emotional harm but also erode the dignity of women holding leadership positions,” Balaam said.
Former minister Mike Mukula also weighed in, describing the incident as a dangerous signal of rising lawlessness.
“Extra-judicial violence, impunity, and gangster-style behavior must stop immediately. The law should take its rightful course,” Mukula wrote.
Full Figure has long been a polarizing figure in Ugandan politics, often sparking heated debates with her blunt, sometimes offensive commentary.
Political observers say the attack underscores the growing climate of intolerance as Uganda moves closer to the 2026 general elections, where online platforms and fiery rhetoric are increasingly shaping political battles.
Police are yet to release an official statement, and it remains unclear whether any arrests have been made in connection with the assault.
