Kampala, Uganda – A dramatic scene unfolded at a local church service after a believer stunned the congregation with a chilling testimony, confessing that he had killed his lover. The shocking revelation prompted the presiding pastor to immediately alert the police, leading to the man’s arrest on the spot.

According to eyewitnesses, the unnamed believer took to the pulpit during a testimony session, where Christians often share personal experiences of faith. Instead, he delivered a grim confession, narrating how he had allegedly taken the life of his partner during a heated domestic dispute.

The congregation was left in disbelief, with some faithful breaking into tears while others called for police intervention. The pastor, visibly shaken, paused the service and swiftly contacted authorities.

Police officers arrived moments later and apprehended the man, who was escorted out of the church under tight security. Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed the arrest, saying:

“We commend the pastor for acting quickly. The suspect is now in custody and investigations are ongoing to establish the full details of the incident.”

Authorities say the suspect will be charged with murder once investigations are complete. Meanwhile, the alleged victim’s identity and details surrounding the crime are being withheld pending further inquiry.

Community members have applauded the pastor’s decision, noting that protecting society must come before church loyalty. The incident has since sparked widespread debate online, with many Ugandans questioning what drives individuals to make such public confessions of serious crimes.
