Thieves Break Into Tamale Mirundi’s Home In Kyotera – Steal Money And Traditional Things He Used For Witchcraft – Family Claims Thieves Will Return Them In 2 Days

Thieves broke into the house of the late Tamale Mirundi in Kyotera, stealing valuable property just before his body was expected to be brought to the residence.

Among the stolen items were traditional crafts, deeply significant to the family and their cultural heritage. The widow, Namatovu, expressed her belief that the stolen items will eventually be returned.

She emphasized that no one can take from their family without facing consequences, hinting at a strong belief in retribution.Tamale Mirundi, who passed away recently, will be laid to rest at the same house in Kyotera tomorrow, Sunday.

Speaking about him for the first time in many years since they bitterly fell out in the mid-2000s when he chose to rejoin Musevenism as she remained in the opposition, Nambooze on Thursday told Sanyuka TV’s Adam Kungu that Mirundi naturally liked using media practice to inform and entertain people at the same time.

That this is why many of the things he said were mere jokes and not meant to be taken seriously.Mirundi’s many demands included requiring the family to get a court order blocking Vision Group media outlets from writing anything about his death.

The other was to ensure no government official speaks or brings condolence money at his vigil or funeral. Yet he accepted full support from the President and all the other wiling government officials as he agonized at the Kisubi Hospital bed where he breathed his last from in the wee hours of Wednesday.

He also famously demanded to be buried while standing with his head peeping outside so that he is able to see all the sexually-perverted men trying to come to seduce and inherit any of his widows especially the most beautiful and classy one of the Kyengera home.

He had also casually suggested that his casket should never be taken to church anywhere to be prayed for.Yet his brother and family head John Ssali stood at the church platform during the Thursday church service in Bunamwaya to water down all these demands.

The Mirundi orphans, ably led by Counsel John Tamale, did the same inside the same Bunamwaya Cathedral where they apologized to all those he wronged including the Catholic Church leadership and Buganda Kingdom whose Katikkiro Mayiga and several other officials Mirundi harangued for more than 15 years without provocation.
