His Highness Emorimor Papa Iteso, Paul Sande Emolot Etomeileng has officially appointed Andrew Ocole as the new Prime Minister.
This was confirmed on Tuesday, 13th August, 2024 by Abdallah Ochoggiah, the deputy minister of information and national guidance Iteso Cultural Union (ICU).
Ochoggiah said that the decision of Ocole’s appointment was announced on Monday 12th-August-2024 by Papa Emorimor following the resignation and demise of Prime Minister Vance Omome.
He added that Ocole’s appointment marks a significant shift in leadership within the cultural union.
While in an interview with our reporter at his office on Monday, Ocole welcomed the appointment and congratulated Papa Emorimor for trusting him.
He pledged to focus on addressing social and economic revitalization of the union while in his tenure.
