The Sironko Chief Administrative Officer has taken a disciplinary action against Ketty Nabuduwa, the Buchambi parish Chief over   the Parish Development Model money scandal.

In October, 2024, Nabuduwa together with Richard Wafuma, the Buchambi PDM SACCO chairperson were detained at Masaba police station for allegedly attempting to disappear with over Shs98 million meant for beneficiaries.

After their release, the CAO summoned Nabuduwa to respond to the allegations in seven days especially in the illegal manner which she conducted herself in total contravention of the PDM guidelines.

Nabuduwa wrote back to the CAO apologizing for the incident forming the basis in which the CAO took the first disciplinary measure of issuing her with a warning letter.

While speaking to our reporter on Monday, Kirenda confirmed serving her with the warning letter and urged other civil servants to take that as an example.

He says that the district will not tolerate such improper way of behavior by civil servants adding that this affects service delivery.
