Regarding the ongoing fighting in Goma, the tumultuous eastern city of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo), prophet Elvis Mbonye has expressed his opinion that the bloodshed will eventually lead to a sustainable peace in the area.
The pastor of Zoe Ministries recently revealed a prophesy dated January 6, 2015, in which he described a supernatural insight about the conflict in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.
“I saw another emergence of war in the eastern part [of the DR Congo], and then it again began affecting our land. I felt good about it, so I wondered, how can I feel good about this war?” he recalled.
Prophet Mbonye claims that the Lord told him that this battle would be the last in a series of long-running conflicts in the area.
“It shall be totally dealt with,” he said in a prophetic update shared on his YouTube channel on Friday, January 31. “We shall actually have some from within and foreign powers. And there shall be a cleanup around there.”
His statement coincides with increased hostilities between the Congolese military and the M23 rebel group, which has attracted mercenaries and other foreign actors.
