She did not disclose how long she would be away but promised to come back when she’s well-rested.

This is just a break. I am not leaving forever,” Sheebah announced.

“I started this hustle at the age of 14, I am now 34. I believe the Lord has determined that I take a break.”

Scores of her fans all the while shouted in disagreement, urging her to change her mind.

The talented songstress was speaking at the launch of her upcoming music concert.

The show dubbed “Neyanziza” (I am grateful), is slated for Friday, October 4th at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

That same weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, she will have shows at Colline Hotel Mukono and Maria Flo Masaka respectively.

The Kampala concert, she said, will be unlike any she has ever done.

She’s teaming up with KT Events for the sound, while Maestro Band will back her on stage.

“This is a show about gratitude,” she said.

“I know there are people who are in this business; some even sing better than me. But when god gives you favour to excel the rest,” she added.
