Socialite and businessman Shakib Cham Lutaaya has sent social media into a frenzy after a private video of him was leaked online hanging out with a yet-to-be-identified woman despite being married to Zari Hassan.
In the footage making rounds on social media, Shakib who is unaware that he is being recorded is seen holding hands in a playful manner with the mysterious woman who is not his wife.
This has since raised questions amongst social media users, especially during this time of Ramathan where he is expected to be fasting, and away from any bad habits.
On her Snapchat handle, Zari has expressed her disappointment in Shakib’s actions claiming that all she has done is support her husband who turned the other way and cheated. She alerted her fans not to blame her if she ever showed up in public with another man.
“It hurts so much, of course, but sometimes you look at something and think maybe God is saving you from something. The Islamic religion has taught me to accept things and say Alhamdullilah,” she said.
Zari and Shakib’s relationship has been built on controversy and scrutiny with people claiming that their marriage would not last long because of their age gap.
