A 17-year-old tragically lost their life while protesting against single-sex schooling.
The deceased who has been identified Ndagire, a Senior Three student, reportedly preferred a mixed-day school to maintain a relationship with her 21-year-old boyfriend.
According to the reports given by a reliable source of information, it has been reported that the deceased succumbed to the injuries that she got after setting herself on fire.
Her death caught the attention of several Ugandans who took to their different social media platforms to send their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
They also called upon parents to counsell their children stating that this could have been avoided if she had been told about her future.
In other news, Ugandas Chief of Defence Forces General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has called upon Ugandans to vote for President Yoweri Museveni in 2026 Presidential elections in Uganda stating that this might be the last time President Yoweri is running for the Presidency.
Speaking about the 2026 Presidential elections in Uganda, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba also stated that President Yoweri Museveni might end up beating National Unity Platform, President Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
