This December, the Ruparelia Foundation will brighten the Christmas season with acts of compassion as it launches a series of outreach activities in memory of Rajiv Ruparelia, whose kindness and humanitarian spirit impacted many lives.

Under a theme centered on sharing the joy of Christmas with the less fortunate, the Foundation has organized multiple charity visits to orphanages and vulnerable communities around Kampala. The initiative is inspired by Rajiv’s generous character one defined by boundless empathy that reached across all backgrounds and circumstances. For those who knew him, giving was not merely an activity but a natural part of who he was. This outreach seeks to carry forward that legacy of continuous generosity.

The Foundation’s Christmas activities will run from 5th to 13th December 2025, with planned visits to:

  • Ghetto Research Lab – Mulago Kamwokya

  • Chrystal Children’s Centre – Ssebuliba Kulambiro

  • Ekilawullo Community – Kyebando

  • King’s Ways Academy Junior School – Nansana Town Village

At each stop, the Foundation will share Christmas warmth through donations, interactions, and uplifting activities aimed at supporting children and families who often approach the season with limited means. According to the Foundation, this is precisely how Rajiv would have been spending the festive period—standing with the disadvantaged, spreading love, and ensuring every child feels valued.

The campaign’s poster captures this sentiment with a touching line: “His laughter lives in every heart he touched,” a reminder of Rajiv’s lasting joy and kindness.

The public is encouraged to take part in the initiative, whether by donating or volunteering. Contributions can be delivered to the Kabira Country Club Reception, and the Foundation assures that all donations will be managed with transparency and accountability.

As the Christmas season approaches, the Ruparelia Foundation invites Ugandans to embrace the true meaning of giving honouring a man whose compassion changed lives, and carrying forward the work he passionately championed.
