Uganda Police Force fraternity is in mourning after the untimely demise of a police officer.
According to the source, the deceased identified as William Matani was a police officer attached to Counter Terrorism (CT) at Nagulu Police Headquarters. William Matani’s brother identified as Katula Alozius took to the media and eulogized his brother as a dedicated officer who worked tirelessly to protect the country. Sources revealed that William Matani was electrocuted to death while on duty. The family revealed that his body is currently preserved at the hospital morgue pending an autopsy test to ascertain what really transpired.
Burial preparations are also underway. Katula Alozius said burial date will be communicated later. Ugandans online joined hands in sending their condoling messages to the bereaved family. Matani’s colleagues mourned him as a kind hearted person who maintained a good rapport with other people. His dedication in serving the country will always be remembered.
