The jury’s responsibilities within the Pulse Influencer Awards are multifaceted. Their primary duty is to assess the influence and impact of the nominated content creators, ensuring that each nominee is evaluated based on their merit and contributions to their respective fields.

This process is carried out with the utmost transparency and fairness, free from personal biases or external pressures. Moreover, the jury is instrumental in setting industry standards for digital content creation. By doing so, they elevate the quality of content within the influencer community and inspire others to aspire to similar levels of excellence.

The Pulse Influencer Awards have grown to become a household name, serving as a vital platform for influencers, digital creators, and other stakeholders within the creative industry. These awards highlight some of the industry’s most remarkable talents across various categories and are dedicated to championing innovation and community-building efforts by influencers who leverage social media to deliver value, both in Uganda and across Africa.

This year’s highly anticipated final award event is scheduled for October 12, with a captivating theme, “Futuristic Fashion: AI Glamour.” The awards will be held simultaneously across all Pulse Africa markets, including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, Uganda, and Côte d’Ivoire, further cementing their status as a pan-African celebration of digital creativity and influence.

Born on November 16 in Jinja, Sarah Adong grew up in a Christian family where praise and worship were common, fueling her early passion for music and the creative arts. She pursued her higher education at Kyambogo University, where she studied for a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science.

As of 2024, she continues to inspire and influence through her work. Serah is the Licensing and Partnerships Manager for Mdundo.com UG, a pan-African music streaming platform with over 36 million monthly active users, where she also handles A&R duties.

Robert Sebunya is an early starter and one of the pioneer digital marketing professionals in Uganda. He has crafted a distinguished 15-year career that seamlessly spans continents—Africa (South, East, and West Africa), Eastern Europe (Lithuania), North America (USA and Canada), and South America (Brazil).

From the dynamic marketplaces of Uganda to the sophisticated circles of the UK, Canada, and Brazil, Robert’s expertise knows no bounds.

Eunice Gachugu is an avid marcomms disciple with over 15 years of experience in marketing, brand management, and business development.

Eunice currently serves as the Talent Director at Saladin Media Advertising Ltd., a role that perfectly aligns with her experience and understanding of the dynamics of modern marketing. In this capacity, she oversees a vast portfolio of nearly 200 influencers, creating synergistic partnerships that bridge the gap between brands and audiences.

Lizel Muwaya is a seasoned media and communications practitioner, currently managing Strategic Communications at ASIGMA.

With over six years of experience, she has held key roles including Head of Content at Pulse Uganda and Content Lead at The Innovation Village, where she managed digital teams and crafted engaging content.

With a keen eye for spotting emerging trends and rising stars, Felistus plays a pivotal role in nurturing and managing talent on one of the world’s leading social media platforms.

She works closely with content creators to help them maximize their potential, develop engaging content, and grow their audiences.
