President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has promoted seven Senior Commissioners of Police (SCPs) to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP).
The seven are SCPs; Bamunoba Ubaldo, Baryamwisaki Felix, Kafeero Moses and Katarambi Charles.
Others are; Mwesigwa Frank, Namutebi Hadijah and Wasswa David.
The promotions were confirmed by the Police Spokesperson, ACP Kituma Rusoke in a press release dated 4th September, 2024.
SCP Hadijja Namutebi, formerly Chief Political Commissar (CPC) of the Uganda Police Force has risen from a mere Police Constable to the second highest rank in the Ugandan Police Force.
