Newly declared NRM flagbearer for Kabatanagi LC 1 chairperson seat, one Agaba Keneth was injured in an accident on Mbaba-Rwemirondo road in Kazo district.
Several sources have confirmed that Agaba, who won with 161 votes against Nkoreki Abel’s 108, is hospitalized in Kazo with Musimenta Silver, who was also on the motorcycle (Reg. No UGA 777B).
Section of Ugandans who took to their different social media platforms to speak on this have wished him a quick recovery.
They also called upon the government under President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to take action against rogue road users who have been accused of causing majority of road accidents in the country.
This is happening at the same time when the Uganda Police Force has raised concerns over the increasing number of road accidents that are allegedly being caused by Boda-boda Riders.
According to the reports given by the authorities, over 200 people were Killed in Fatal Road Accidents involving Boda-boda Riders between 2024 and 2025 March.
The police have for this reason requested Ugandans to work hand in hand with the police by reporting rogue motorists across the country. This, will help reduce road accidents because the police can’t be everywhere.
