My husband married me in my house – Cindy Sanyu

Earlier this month, musician Cinderella Sanyu, aka Cindy, revealed that it was her husband who moved into her house when they chose to marry.

Her revelation sparked widespread criticism, with many claiming she dominates the household and that her husband cannot make decisions.

Cindy has now clarified the situation, stating that her husband married her and that they make decisions together.

“I want to be clear that my husband married me; I didn’t marry him. He paid the cows, goats, chickens, and cash that were required. He married me the right way. We actually do everything together, and we sit and agree as a family,” she said in a video circulating on social media.

Cindy explained that she made the rule about her husband moving into her house long before meeting Prynce, her husband.

“I made my rules even before meeting Prynce. So, after meeting him, he had his own plans, but I insisted on mine. I asked him to move into the house I was renting at the time if he was serious about the relationship. It wasn’t an issue, and he moved in.”

The singer also encouraged women to get out of their comfort zones and hustle for their own money.
