Mudra Refuses to Work with Alcohol Brands Due to His Religion

Dancehall musician Mudra, who is staging his maiden concert this Friday at Zoe Grounds, Lugogo, has revealed that he refused to work with some sponsors because of his religion.

As a devout Muslim, Mudra has strong faith and beliefs and couldn’t accept sponsorship from alcohol brands.

“I refused to work with some sponsors because of my religion. As a Muslim, it doesn’t sit well with me to work with alcohol brands, so I turned down their offers,” he said in an interview with a local television station.

However, Mudra mentioned that alcohol will still be available for sale at the concert, as he acknowledges that some of his fans enjoy it.
