Residents in Kampala were left talking after a man reportedly woke up married following a wild night out, only for a woman to arrive later carrying photos as proof.
The unusual story quickly spread through places like Kabalagala, Kansanga and Ntinda, where many could not decide whether to laugh or feel sorry for him.
For Robert Kiwanuka from Mukono, the headline sounded dramatic, but it reminded him how one bad season can turn life upside down. He said there was a time confusion, poor choices and endless stress nearly ruined both his business and his home.
“I was moving around with a smile, but inside I was finished,” Robert said.
Robert, who sells phone covers near Owino Market, explained that sales had dropped badly, rent was due and arguments at home had become normal.
