Kampala hotspot celebrates 2nd anniversary with tequila and star performances

The night kicked off with a bang, quite literally, as a spectacular fireworks display lit up the Bukoto skyline, signalling the start of the party. As the fireworks faded, Fem DJ took over the decks, spinning tracks that kept the crowd on their feet, dancing and singing along.

The energy soared even higher when Cindy, known as “The King Herself,” took the stage. In a heartwarming moment, Cindy paused her performance to make sure her mother, who had come to watch, found a good spot in the packed venue. Once she was set, Cindy delivered a show-stopping performance, belting out her hits like “Boom Party,” “Ayokyayoka,” and “Selector,” sending the crowd into a frenzy.

As if that wasn’t enough, dancehall star A Pass brought more fire to the stage, surprising the crowd by inviting Elijah Kitaka to join him. Together, they rocked the audience with their hit “Tippy Toe (Remix)” and Kitaka’s “Dawa,” with fans singing along word for word.

From the music to the drinks to the vibrant crowd, The Villa’s second anniversary was a masterclass in how to throw a party. The night was a testament to The Villa’s role in lighting up Kampala’s nightlife, proving once again why it’s a go-to spot for unforgettable nights out.
