HAPPENING NOW! Pomp, colour as Victoria University holds 8th Graduation Ceremony – The Kampala Report
Today, all roads lead to Munyonyo Convention Centre for Victoria University’s 8th Graduation Ceremony.
Deputy Speaker of Parliament Thomas Tayebwa is presiding the graduation where over 2,500 of graduands are being conferred upon degrees in various disciplines.
According to the Vice Chancellor, Dr Lawrence Muganga, the function started at 8am and is expected to end at 3pm.
“We invite you to join us at the Munyonyo Convention Center to honor the achievements of our graduands. This day is a reward for their hard work and dedication. We are proud of each of our graduands and look forward to celebrating together.For those unable to attend in person, you can watch the ceremony live on @bbstvug starting at 8 am,” Dr Muganga said.
The Kampala Report has seen several guests in attendance, including tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia.
