FULL LIST: Former Police Deputy Spokesperson, Polly Namaye Eats Big in New Appointments

The Inspector General of Police has appointed and made transfers of senior police officers in the Thursday, 22^nd August, 2024 appointments.

Amongst those that have eaten big is former Deputy Police Spokesperson, Polly Namaye who straight from a refresher course has been appointed as CP Peace Support Operations under the directorate of Operations.

Other appointments are;

1. AIGP Joseph Mugisa from the Directorate of Fire Prevention & Rescue to IGP’s office.
2. SCP Apora James is appointed Ag. Director Logistics & Engineering.
3. SCP Joseph Obwona is appointed Ag. Director Interpol & International Relations.
4. SCP Stephen Tanui is appointed Ag. Director Fire Prevention & Rescue.
5. SCP Elias Kassirabo from Human Resource Administration is appointed Attaché Uganda High Commission in Nairobi.
6. SCP Yusuf SSewanyana from ICT is appointed Deputy Director Interpol Division.
7. SCP Frankline Kugonza from the Directorate of Logistics & Engineering to Directorate of Fire Prevention & Rescue as Deputy Director.
8. CP Sarah Kibwika from the Directorate of Human Resource Administration & Management is appointed Ag. Deputy Director Human Resource Administration & Management.
9. CP Proscovia Achola of Logistics & Engineering is appointed Ag. Deputy Director Force Fleet Management.
10. CP Irene Ameri Kimara of Logistics & Engineering is appointed AG. Deputy Director Logistics & Engineering.
11. CP Simon Peter Okosh from Peace Support Operation to Directorate of Operations as Ag. Deputy Director Operations.
12. CP Philip Acaye form course to Directorate of Traffic & Road Safety as Ag. Deputy Director.
13. CP Hillary Kulayige from course to the Directorate of Chief Political Commissariat as Deputy Director.
14. CP Moses Muluya is appointed Deputy Director Welfare Production & Sports.
15. CP Agaptus Ecotu from Directorate of Human Resource Administration & Management to Field Force Unit as Deputy Commande Operations Commander.
16. CP Benedict Byamugisha from course to Research and planning & Development as CP Research & Development.
17. CP Hassan Kihanda from course to Directorate of Fire Prevention & Rescue as CP Fire Disaster, Training &Administrative support Services.
18. CP Rosemary Nanyonga from course to Agricultural Police as Deputy Commandant Livestock Sector.
19. CP Michael Walwanga from course to Interpol & International Relations as CP International Relations.
20. CP James Kusemererwa from course to Directorate of Human Rights & Legal Services as CP international Relations.
21. CP David Manzi from course to VIPPU/VIS as Commandant.
