Four people were killed in a road crash in Kasese district on Monday evening at around 8:00 pm.

The incident occurred at Mushenene-Bukangara Trading Centre, in Munkunyu Sub County.

It involved a Fuso truck  vehicle registration number UAX 843M, and a motorcycle registration number UGD 438G.

Rwenzori East police spokesperson SP Nelson Tumushime says police preliminary findings  indicate that the lorry driver failed to negotiate  a sharp corner in the hilly area before ramming into the motorcycle.

The deceased have been identified as Morris Nyamagere who was on the motorcycle, Robert Kyaboro, Mbale Mudomo and one only identified as Bahati
