Finally, He Is Going To Face It Tough!! Masaka Man Arrested After Burning His 16-Year-Old Daughter Alive, Months on the Run

In a chilling case that has left the Masaka community in shock, police have finally arrested a man accused of burning his 16-year-old daughter alive after being on the run for several months. The suspect, whose name is being withheld pending further investigations, was tracked down in a remote village where he had been hiding since the horrific incident.

According to police, the tragic event occurred earlier this year after a heated domestic dispute. Witnesses claim that the man locked his teenage daughter inside their small family house before setting it ablaze, allegedly over accusations that she had “disgraced the family.” The girl sustained severe burns and died before neighbors could rescue her.

Following the incident, the suspect fled Masaka, evading capture through a network of friends and relatives who allegedly shielded him from law enforcement. His arrest came after an intensive manhunt involving local authorities and community tip-offs that led police to his hideout.

Masaka Regional Police spokesperson described the arrest as a “step towards justice” for the victim and her grieving relatives. “This is a heinous crime, and we will ensure the suspect faces the full force of the law. Burning an innocent child alive is beyond inhumane,” he stated.

The incident has sparked outrage, with human rights groups calling for harsher penalties for parents who abuse or kill their children. Meanwhile, the suspect remains in custody as police prepare to present him in court, where he is expected to face murder charges.

For the community, his arrest brings a glimmer of hope — that justice for the young girl, whose life was cut short in such a brutal manner, will finally be served.
