Construction of the Paradise Island Resort on Lake Victoria has reached its final stretch, with 95% of the structural work already completed. Just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala, the island getaway is poised to become a prime destination for honeymooners, leisure travelers, and guests seeking a quiet retreat.
Launched on May 1, 2021, the project aims to boost both domestic and international tourism by offering visitors a blend of serenity, luxury, and island charm. The development began with 22 units, with an additional 16 cottages added during the second phase of expansion.
The project is spearheaded by Sheena Ruparelia, daughter of business magnate Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia and a key member of the Ruparelia Group.
The resort features a wide variety of accommodation options, including 10 Standard Cottages, 11 Standard Cliff-Hanger Cottages, 14 Deluxe 2-Bedroom Cottages (2BHK), and 3 executive villas designed to give guests breathtaking views of Lake Victoria and the island’s peaceful atmosphere.
Spanning 19 acres, Paradise Island Resort is surrounded by a natural rocky island filled with lush trees and a large population of birds, making it an ideal location for bird lovers and nature enthusiasts.
The resort joins a growing list of major Ruparelia Group developments, including the expansion of Kabira Country Club, the Speke Resort Convention Center, Kingdom Hotel, Ssese Beach Resort, and other flagship projects.
