A woman in her early 20s, identified as Eva Mbabazi, has been arrested in connection with the ongoing investigation into the death of Dr. John Spire Kiggundu.

Mbabazi’s name had been widely mentioned across several social media platforms as the last person seen with the late doctor before his mysterious death.

According to preliminary reports, law enforcement officials picked up Mbabazi after gathering enough leads suggesting she may have crucial information about the final moments of Dr. Kiggundu’s life.

The circumstances surrounding Dr. Kiggundu’s death remain unclear, though the case has attracted significant public interest due to his professional background and the nature of his passing.

Authorities have so far declined to release details about the cause of death, citing the need to preserve the integrity of ongoing investigations.

Sources close to the investigation say Mbabazi is being treated as a key witness, though she may also face further questioning depending on the evidence that emerges.

Her arrest follows mounting pressure from the public and online users who have been demanding transparency and justice in the case.

Police say they are reviewing CCTV footage, phone records, and witness testimonies to piece together a clearer timeline of events.

Investigators have urged the public to avoid speculation and allow due process to take its course as they continue to dig deeper into the doctor’s final hours.
