He went on to explain that his children sometimes believe he acts a certain way because of his celebrity status.
“At times they remind me and say… papa, you are not a star, you cannot expect the whole world to bow down before you,” he revealed.
This balancing act between fame and parenting has been particularly difficult for Chameleone, who is navigating the demands of maintaining his public persona while trying to set a good example for his children.
“It is especially challenging trying to be a good father and a star at the same time,” he said, adding that he often speaks to his children to remind them that they will understand his actions as they grow older.
Chameleone’s struggles with fatherhood are compounded by his strained relationship with his wife, Daniella Atim.
The couple’s marriage has faced challenges, and Daniella left Uganda and relocated to the United States with their children.
Reports have suggested that Chameleone’s lifestyle and public incidents may have played a role in their separation. Daniella is now based in the U.S., where she is raising the couple’s five children.

Recently, however, the Leone Island boss dropped hints on a possible reunion with his family.
During a shared stage appearance with fellow Ugandan musician Bebe Cool, Chameleone remarked, “No condition is permanent,” seemingly reflecting on his own marital ups and downs.
This came after Bebe Cool playfully reminded Chameleone of the time he mocked him over his brief separation from his wife, Zuena Kirema, back in 2009.
