BUKEDEA: Speaker Among Confident Football Stadium Will Be Complete Before FEASA Games

Speaker Among chats up some footballers of Bukedea Comprehensive School

The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Annet Anita Among has this morning, 3rd August landed in Bukedea District to inspect the construction works of development project/football stadium.

 

The stadium is expected to host the East African Games (FEASA) slated to commence on 16th, August 2024.

 

The two schools of Bukedea Comprehensive School and Amus College School are the hosts.

 

According to the Speaker Among who is confident the works will be done before the FEASA games, hosting the East African Games is a great achievement for Uganda as a country and Bukedea at large.

 

“The people of Bukedea will conduct business and make money during these games,” said Speaker Anita.

 

Speaker Anita was later joined by the Bukedea district leaders headed by the district chairperson, Mary Akol.

 

Professor Jonas Gumisiriza, the managing director Bukedea Comprehensive School told this publication that the host school is set.

 

“As a host, we are more than ready to host come rain come sunshine and our boys and girls are well prepared,” said Gumisiriza.

 

Mary Akol urged the Bukedea residents to be ready to conduct business in order to generate income at household levels. She said this will be a great opportunity for the people of Bukedea.
