NRM’s Robert Kasolo is panicking and spending sleepless nights after Sam Mujomba Gagi, the NRM cadre, foot soldier who served as right hand supporter and driver of former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi has kicked off clandestine political campaigns to kick him out of parliament.
However, before he even ends his second term in office, voters have already started complaining that he has failed to present their problems on the floor of Parliament so that Speaker Annet Anita Among or her deputy Thomas Tayebwa can give direction on how to solve their problems especially concerning poor road network and insecurity.
They accuse Kasolo of wasting a lot of time distancing himself from the people in his constituency while voters suffer with big problems that can be addressed once presented in Parliament.
Mr Mujomba, a celebrated political, social and economic animal has started riding on Kasolo’s weaknesses of absenting himself at Parliament and in the constituency to market himself through organising and mobilizing the public on activities to fight ignorance and poverty in Iki iki constituency.
He always organises public lectures to educate his people on the purpose and the importance of supporting government programs.
He also plans to bring experts during the events who will give economic planning advice on various problems challenging the voters and called upon the people of Budaka to love their culture and fight imposters who want to capture Bugwere culture for selfish gains.
Kasolo will face a tough task, because sources in his constituency briefed this reporter that Mujomba, who was a blue eyed campaign manager in President Museveni’s Camp, Bukedi region in 2021 elections is also going to contest in the 2026 elections.
