Bobi Wine shot in Bulindo
The video then pans to a police pick up truck number UP 5752, with two police officers riding in the trunk.
The person on the camera points at one of the officers who allegedly shot at the opposition leader.
The NUP described this an attempt on their leader’s life.
” Security operatives have made an attempt on the life of President @HEBobiwine. He was shot in the leg and seriously injured in Bulindo, Wakiso District,” the video is captioned.
Urgent treatment
Bobi Wine was rushed to Nsambya Hospital for treatment.
Here, a number of NUP leaders including the Leader of Opposition in Parliament Joel Ssenyonyi were present as Bobi Wine got wheeled into the ward.
Blood could be seen oozing from his left leg.
