Bishop Mugyezi Warns Clergies against Misusing Church Attires

The Secretary General of National fellowship of Born – Again Pentecostal churches in  Uganda, Bishop Dr. Africano Magyezi has warned clergies and church leaders against abusing church garments by wearing church of Uganda robs away from fellowship saying this could attract  legal challenges for them.

 

He sounded the warning on August 4, 2024 at Entebbe works ground during the installation ceremony of Pastor Godfrey Mulonde, the newly appointed overseer of Entebbe Division born again Pentecostal church affiliates.

 

Bishop Dr. Africano Magyezi who officiated the installation of the newly Entebbe Division born again overseer, asked him  to observe faithfulness and diligence and to do away with things contrary to God’s Word including those that prohibit people from marriage.

 

While Pastor Godfrey Mulonde, the newly installed Entebbe Division  overseer who was handed a bible and constitution of the Fellowship as tools of his work after taking an oath of allegiance and secrecy, expressed gratitude to God for choosing him to lead his people and pledged to address issues of national fellowship of Born – Again Pentecostal churches.

 

Meanwhile, pastor Mulonde was given ceremonial garments with which he was robed before being presented to the congregation in a new capacity before taking an Oath. The elders and bishops then prayed for him and his wife Daphine who will help him to do church ministry.  Later he was anointed with holy oil before the men and women of God.
