With that said, here are the top 10 African countries with the highest diesel costs for September. The countries listed below boast 10 of the most expensive diesel prices in Africa according to GlobalPetrolPrices.

The list was last updated on the 16th of September 2024 with the global average price of diesel being 1.21 U.S. dollars per liter compared to 1.24 U.S dollars per liter in August.

Diesel prices for CAR, Zimbabwe, Seychelles, Togo, Mauritius, and Cameroon increased in September, compared to August. While prices for Malawi, Sierra Leone, and Guinea saw a marginal decline. Mozambique’s price remained the same.
