How Shs180m bribe has allegedly split investigators in a corruption case

All isn’t well at one of the country’s investigative agencies as allegations that officials from a certain ministry offered a bribe of Shs180 million to the officers to fabricate evidence against senior official currently on remand at Luzira prison.

It is said that the ongoing saga that has involved the members of the legislature has seen money exchange hands so as to make sure the said official is implicated in the ongoing corruption saga.

Recently investigators from this agency tried to lure the leaders from one the top religious sects in the country to pin the jailed official when the trial starts. However, these religious leaders rejected the ploy
