A marriage that many believed was built on faith and commitment has come to a dramatic end after a Kabale pastor allegedly discovered his wife in a lodge room with another man in an incident that has sparked widespread discussion within the local community.
Pastor George Nafayo of Reformers Church has confirmed that he has officially separated from his wife, Evidence Orishaba, 37, following an incident that reportedly occurred on June 25, 2026, at Vision Jointex Bar and Lodge along the Kabale–Ntungamo Highway in Rukiga District.
According to Pastor Nafayo, the discovery shattered the trust in their marriage and left him with no choice but to end the relationship. He said the matter was immediately reported to police before local authorities stepped in to try and resolve the dispute through mediation.
Sources familiar with the matter said the mediation was conducted behind closed doors in an effort to save the marriage and prevent the conflict from escalating publicly.
