Popular TikTok personality, lifestyle content creator, and fashion influencer Shani Lips has once again become the center of online attention after new explicit videos allegedly featuring her emerged on social media.
Shani Lips has built a strong following through her TikTok content and frequent appearances at entertainment events and nightlife gatherings. She previously ventured into music with her track Body, produced by Anko Ronie, though the song struggled to gain significant traction among listeners.
Over the years, her bold fashion choices and provocative online content have often attracted criticism, placing her among some of the most controversial social media personalities in Uganda.
In July 2025, Shani Lips and fellow TikToker Moody came under scrutiny after intimate videos involving the pair circulated online. The incident led to their summons by Minister Balaam Barugahara, who publicly criticized the content as immoral and inappropriate.
Now, fresh videos reportedly showing Shani Lips in revealing situations have spread across WhatsApp groups and various social media platforms. The clips have been widely shared over the past several days, sparking intense discussion among internet users.
The leaked content has drawn mixed reactions. While some social media users have condemned the influencer for repeatedly finding herself at the center of such controversies despite her popularity and influence, others have expressed concern about the impact such leaks can have on an individual’s personal life.
Fellow TikToker and influencer Sheilah Price spoke out against those responsible for sharing the videos, arguing that little consideration is given to the emotional toll such incidents can have on the victims and their families.
“I saw the videos last night. I keep wondering who leaked them. People who share such private content rarely think about the future of these young women, their parents, or the effect it can have on their mental well-being,” Sheilah Price said.
