JUST IN: Musician, Alien Skin Gets Temporary Freedom

Musician, Patrick Mulwana, alias Alien Skin who was earlier remanded on charges of theft of an iPhone 15 Pro, Shs480,000 and assault of three Nsambya hospital staff has been granted bail.

Mulwana was granted a cash bail of Shs1 million while each of his sureties was bonded at Shs5 million not cash by the Makindye Chief Magistrate’s Court today, Thursday, 28th November, 2024. The bails is for all charges including the phone theft case for which he was first remanded until December 9th, 2024

Alien’s representatives told the presiding Magistrate Esther Adikini that both parties are in negotiations to have the case settled out of court and are engaging the DPP on this.

His private bodyguard, Julius Mugabi, with whom he’s accused of committing the offences has also been released.

The duo will return to court for hearing on 13th January 2025. They have been conditioned to travel outside the country, only with the court’s permission. They have also been conditioned to stay away from the complainants.

The Makindye Magistrates Court on Monday, 25th November denied bail to Fangone’s embattled Patrick Mulwana, alias Alien Skin, thereby sending him back to cool off at Luzira Prisons.

Popular Ugandan musician, Alien Skin was arrested by Police following incidents surrounding the death of one of his Fangone member, Jerome and ensuing chaos at Nsambya Hospital early Wednesday, 20th November, 2024.
