Police in Kampala Metropolitan Area is seriously investigating the circumstances under which a prominent City Pastor was murdered in Cold Blood and body dumped.
The murdered pastor has been identified as Easter Nakibuuka 39 operating World of life Church in Watubba in Matuga Wakiso district.
According to local residents, the body was found with several cuts in the left side of the neck. “We highly believe that the pastor was stubbed using a knife,” Says one of the local residents adding that her private parts were intact meaning there was no rape.
KMP Spokesperson Patrick Onyango says the preliminary Investigations show that the deceased pastor had led an overnight prayer session with her team.
“Around 2:00 am, the deceased and her team went for a prayer walk from the church to the main road and back,” Says Onyango.
He adds that after returning, each member went to their separate way with the victim taking the bana oil road.
“The pastor never returned to the church and her body was later found by the local residents,” Reveals Onyango.
Police boss says, there were signs of struggle about three meters where the body was found but the assailants remain unidentified.
