SERERE DISTRICT WOMAN MP 2026 RACE: Medic Promises to Send Minister Adoa Packing

A medical practitioner Deborah Akiteng has this afternoon Monday 11th, Nov 2024 released shocking news after expressing her interest to oust the incumbent, State Minister for fisheries Hellen Adoa in coming 2026 polls District Woman MP.

 

Ms. Akiteng hails from Abuket village in Kyere Sub County, Serere district.

 

This website discovered that Ms. Akiteng is already on ground consulting the people of Serere for the vote support as 2026 polls draw closer.

 

She will be among the six women who have shown interest to join the race.

 

According to whistleblowers, the incumbent minister Hellen Adoa will face new faces such as Deborah Akiteng, Florence Iyogil, Margaret Apol, Suzan Apolot and one only identified as Acom.

 

In an interview, Ms. Akiteng cited health and education amongst people of Serere as her area of priorities.

 

“Looking at the health sector and education being a person well equipped with a well-versed background on health, health challenges will not be a big deal for my people”, said Ms. Akiteng.

 

Brief about Deborah Akiteng

 

She’s a nursing officer after attending her studies in Masaka School of comprehensive nursing and Namugoona parents for “A” level, St. Johns secondary school for “O” level and Kidetok for primary education.
