JUST IN: Four Teachers Arrested For Sharing Fake PLE Exam Papers Online

Police has arrested four Primary school teachers for allegedly sharing Fake PLE Examination papers Online.

 

The four were arrested on Monday, 4th November, 2024 at different parts of the country.

 

They have been identified as Bakashaba Vincent, a Teacher at Kimongole Primary School in Isingiro, Muheki Vincent, a teacher at Vision primary School, Ibanda, Pabeku Albert, a teacher at Stoneridge Primary School in Kira and Oyet Kosea of Dignitary Junior School in Rukungiri.

 

According to a UNEB statement dated 4th November, the group was found sharing the FAKE four PLE Examination papers on different Social Media platforms where they would ask for Shs750,000 per set of the purported 4 PLE Papers.

“Police have arrested four teachers for unauthorised possession and online dissemination of fake PLE examination papers,” reads the statement in part.

 

The suspects are still in police custody and are expected in court today, Tuesday 5th November for mention of their case and plea taking.

 

PLE is set to commence on Wednesday, 6th November and end on Thursday, 7th November, 2024.

 

If found guilty, the accused face up to 5 years in prison or a fine not exceeding Shs20M or both according to Section 25 of the UNEB Act CAP 259.
