BREAKING! Mbale Heroes FC Unveils Official Sponsor

The newly promoted Uganda Premier League side, Mbale Heroes FC, has today Saturday, 9th November, 2024 confirmed Jonard Conglomerate Investment Limited as their new official sponsor for one season, with plans to potentially extend the partnership.

 

The sponsorship agreement was signed and unveiled on Saturday at Mountain Inn Hotel in Mbale City.

 

Jonard Conglomerate Investment Ltd joins other sponsors of the club which includes Mountain Inn Hotel, Balloon Ventures, and Suwa investments.

 

Mr. Badru Chemusto, commonly known as Bado, the club’s vice-chairman in charge of football said “This day is a dream come true in the revival of Mbale Heroes. I present to you the people who wish Mbale heroes good,”

 

“It’s been a long journey since Kiboga Young FC, and we thank Mwambu Wycliffe, who purchased the club, along with our sponsors and fans.” Chemusito said.

 

He added, “Our goal is to stay in a strong position and avoid relegation. We are here to stay, and we’re confident in our future.”

 

Eng. Jonard Asiimwe, director of Jonard Conglomerate Investment Limited, expressed his excitement about associating with the community club which boasts of its fan base.

 

“Mbale Heroes is a serious team, and I’m grateful to the people of Bugisu. I admire the community spirit behind Mbale Heroes, and we’ve agreed to work together long-term,” Asiimwe noted.

 

“Football is very expensive; some teams are even struggling to afford fuel to go for matches. I thank Mbale Heroes for paying salaries on time. We have ups and downs, but to win in football, you have to stay focused,” Asiimwe noted.

Issa Musiwa, chairman of Eastern Region Football Association, urged the management of Mbale heroes to foster unity, cautioning against tribalism and internal conflicts if they aim to grow the club further.

 

Mbale Heroes will play their next Uganda Premier League match on Sunday, November 10, 2024, in a home fixture against Bull FC at Mbale Stadium.
